Aldine ISD is convening a long-range planning committee to review our recent facilities assessment. The group will review and analyze the findings from the study along with other district data, including but not limited to demographic studies, financial forecasts, city and county planning documents, and department audits, to plan for the ever-changing needs of the community.

• This committee is charged with providing recommendations to the administration for planning needs. It does not have decision-making authority.
• To ensure transparency, all committee agendas and reports will be posted on the district website.
• All meetings will be facilitated by Aldine ISD administrators.
• Work groups/subcommittees may be used to evaluate specific and targeted strategies or review other information.

The committee will be composed of various district stakeholders, including teachers and campus staff, school leaders, parents, community members, students, and district administrators. Aldine ISD staff and various consultants will serve as resources to the committee, providing information and expertise as needed.
